Florida man dies after attacking former cop, biting teen's face

A Florida man is dead following a confrontation with police after using superhuman-like strength when he assaulted a retired cop and bit another man on the face.
The man was naked when he attacked the 66-year-old retired NYPD officer for unknown reasons Tuesday night. He then chased a man and his 10-year-old son, then attacked an 18-year-old man, biting his face, Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw told the Palm Beach Post.
The 18-year-old and retired officer sustained serious injuries and were both taken to hospital.
Police said a Taser did not seem to affect the man, so officers shot him three times in the torso, although it was not immediately clear if the man died from the gunshots or a medical condition.
"He's obviously delirious on something," Bradshaw said of the 6-foot-3, 250 lb man. "He's obviously on some type of narcotics to make him act like this."
